I've missed speaking about Interior Design and my love for it certainly wasn't just a phase. I've noticed, through my Pinterest, (which I will link below) that I've been saving Interior Design for office space and wanted to show you some of the styles I've been loving. White InteriorIf you've been a frequent visitor to my blog, you will know my love for white Interior. It's plastered all over my Pinterest. This style of office space is my absolute favourite. I love the all white look combined with different textures of grey and black completing an overall monochrome style. The most common feature I love is the faux fur chair rug both for comfort and a visually pleasing Interior Design. For me, I'm easily motivated, but at the same time I think it's further inspiring to get creative and fill your room with things that motivate you such as the photos in the first image on the wall. You need to fill your office space with something which keeps you going when you are procrastinating (believe me, I know how well I can procrastinate, especially during exam season). If you're a creative person like me, it's essential to go all out with your space and fill the room with potential. Extra DetailsTo reiterate, for me, creating a room where all your work and study takes place means filling it with ideas and objects which keep you motivated. Much like the second image, I know my Vogue magazines would be in my office as fashion is a keen interest of mine. Furthermore, a moodboard which represents your style or what you like will keep you going when you're loosing the will to live, especially when studying! I'm a perfectionist, so I would fill the room with neatly placed, colour coordinated images and ideas to make me realise my potential and what I'm good at. This is key if you're like me and wanting to go into the fashion industry. Creativity should be the focal point of your work to keep you motivated. These frames are so easy to find such as in IKEA or online store like Not on the High Street or Etsy which gave users uploading creative content for consumers to purchase according to their style. It's so easy to get creative with your office space, I'm really into the idea of using the Interior you have to motivate yourself when you're working. Even quotes like "Do it" in the image above help me! A Bright Colour PaletteI think one of the main reasons as to why I tend to gravitate towards bright and light colour palettes in a room is because it keeps your mood positive. For me, dark colours in an environment where you will be working dampens my mood. My office space would be full of pinks, white and pastel grey colours for an overall vivid look. I wanted to add in the image above because it's both unique to my other choices and emphasises my reasoning behind choosing a bright colour palette for a study room. The pink and white contrast immediately motivates and inspires me, reinforced my the way the room is organised such as the wall planner with an itinerary for day to day tasks which need to be completed. Different textures and objects add the vibrancy such as the stripped cushion and the multi coloured balls hanging from the ceiling for a much more enjoyable atmosphere. Plants are a must for me in terms of Interior Design at the minute, in my new bedroom I'm planning on going fake plant mad, you can't go wrong with plants and a gorgeous green colour. That's all from me! I hope you've enjoyed my post today. Be sure to come back for more Interior Design inspo as well fashion and lifestyle related posts. There is a lot more exciting posts in the near future as I have a lot going on this summer. Do you love white Interior or do you have a different style? Be sure to let me know.

I've been doing a lot of moving about recently as my family have sold their home and we're on the hunt for a new one, we have a few in mind. Feeling inspired, I decided to head over to YouTube to find channels which would give me inspiration for bedroom and study designs. Reluctantly, I came across Studio Mcgee who are a couple that launched their firm in 2014 and it has quickly grown to become one of the most well-known interior design studios in the nation. I wanted to share with you my favourite projects they have been involved in! You know me when it comes to Interior Design, I am a huge fan of white interior with a dash of colour. I was obsessed with the all white combined with the green and gold features. In the bottom photo we have a gorgeous marble island in the middle of the kitchen which is another texture added for a complete overall look. The minimalistic vibe is a must have for me, not only does it make the whole design look much more vibrant and bright, but spacious and welcoming too. My favourite aspect of this project had to be the cabinets and benches on the photo to your right, I love the mixture of white and pastel grey tones with a marble style bench, this definitely gives me inspiration for a Kitchen when I have my own home. Again we see the white contrasted with a dash of green, I just love this type of design. The project was made further detailed by the use of the striped rug in the last photo, I feel like a rug is important in this particular room to give it a more comforting feel, as well as ensuring it's not too plain. The wide opening doors ensure more sunlight, to allow for the room to feel bright and welcoming alongside the white walls. I also love the black piano (which is so gorgeous) alongside the deep blue leather seat. I think change in material and texture can really alter the style and design of a room. The right photo is my absolute dream kitchen. I love the all white look combined with the dark wooden floor and gold handles on the drawers. The light and dark contrast in colours, further adds to the detail of the room, I've always been a massive fan of wooden floors in the kitchen such as in that photo. I added in the left photo because of the choice of carpet. We have a beige sort of paint on the walls and that bright feeling to the room is kept apparent through the light grey rugs. For me, Living Room's must be styled with carpet as it's all the more cosier. That's all from me! Interior Design is slowly becoming an obsession thanks to Studio Mcgee. I have been watching their YouTube videos non-stop, in fact I think I've them all. Whoops. Their design's and projects are very much true to my style of Interior Design with the frequent appearance of the white interior. Go check em' out!
Until next time, Em x I'm back with a new blog on Interior Design, a side hobby of mine. I've been super inspired recently by Instagram accounts who post bedroom, kitchen and study interiors, therefore I thought I would share with you my all time faves. Both accounts have a very unique style, but show features of typical designs that I love, such as white interior. @EasyInterieurI have to give a major shoutout to this account because ever since I've followed them, they've became a frequent inspiration for me. I'm constantly stealing ideas and even items such as the gorgeous fluffy cushion which often make an appearance. Not only does this account create interior which is so spectacular and carefully crafted with little bits that make it all the more perfect (such as the rugs, the cushion and flowers) but I love her choice of pictures and mood board inspired designs such as the Vogue print you see in the left photo. A wood floor has always been a favourite of mine, but I've vastly grown to love the spiral staircase, too. I love this account as they create an interior that is thought about and has a particular scheme. I also get cosy vibes when looking at the posts. @residencedesignIf you have previously seen my other Interior Design blogs, it will be pretty self explanatory as to why I love this particular account. This account screams white interior and what better photo to prove that to you than the right photo. I love simple interior, so the mainly white colour in contrast with a light pastel grey is amazing. Much like the photo before, we have images which I think are perfect as they can add a dash of personality to your home. If you like fashion, you may have a vogue frame and if it's photography, it might be your own creations. The left photo reveals a white and black colour scheme, another look which I love. I love this photo particularly due to the glass doors into the bedroom. I think this would be especially perfect if you lived alone or with your partner. It's so different to normal design. We have the classic green plant to add a dash of colour to the room, often essential to liven it up a bit. This account is similar to the styles which I love in terms of Interior Design, so it's no doubt I obsess over it. That's all from me! I've been feeling inspired by these two accounts recently and thought why not preach it to you guys. If you love Interior Design, I would love to know what style you enjoy. Is it vivid colours, pattern work or like me, white interior?
Until next time, Em x Evening loves, my new blog post is again a little bit different than usual. You may or may not know about my increased obsession and LOVE for Interior Design. I'm no expert, but recently my Pinterest is flooded with a series of interiors I would love to see in my own future home. I have done a dream home type of blog where I took to Pinterest to show you how in an ideal world, my home would look. Well today is similar. I've found a recent love for white interior and would love to share it with you, especially for all the peeps with the same obsession as me. Mad About HomesOf course these two look totally different, but the light reflecting into the house through the doors and windows in the right image is what makes the difference. I absolutely LOVE the first image you see to your left. I like how in some homes the ceiling is very much a flat surface and then down the sides (or in this case one side) it arches. The all white ceiling combined with the wood flooring is my favourite combination, although I would absolutely have to have carpet in my bedrooms. Perhaps the light grey colour on the rug as carpet would look lovely with the white walls. I love the contrast in the greys and white in this image, rather simplistic, but feels quite modern to me. Again wood flooring is apparent in the right image, so it's not much of a shock I love it. My favourite thing is the open room, which basically means a room without a door. I think if you do this style right, it looks amazing. The use of green sort of completes the overall look. I feel without a dash of colour, white is a bit too in your face. Closet InspoForget the ever so popular Victoria Secret themed closet, I'm loving the all white look. I would love to have an all white interior closet mainly because as seen above, it makes your clothes stand out so much. I could go CRAZY with colour coordination (making myself sound a bit weird, aren't I?). There is a reappearance of the light grey rug, essential to tone down the vivd white all over the room. If one day I can afford to have a closet full of clothes in my house, don't be surprised if it's identical to this. I thought I would add in the image on the left because office space is such a necessity. For me, your office has to be visually pleasing as it will motivate you to work. If I walk into a room that looks amazing and organised it would genuinely make me study so much better. I think that the use of white interior in an office is a rather clever idea simply because throughout the day time it will further brighten the whole room, so a dull atmosphere can't be an excuse as to why you haven't done that essay. The use of fluffy cushions adds a different texture to the plain white all over the room. I think if it was up to me, I'd possibly add elements of either pastel pink or black to the room to add a bit more colour and liveliness to it overall. I'm well aware that my main two features on my blog are fashion and beauty, but once in a while I get passionate about talking about Interior Design. I've been noticing my growing love for white interior, so thought it would only be right to preach that to you all. Let me know if you enjoy these type of blogs. For all you fashion lovers, something exciting will be up in the near future, so don't miss it!
Until next time, Em x I've been on Pinterest for the past couple of years now and honestly, it's hands down one of my favourite social sites to be on. Obviously you all know I absolutely love anything that links with creativity and I feel that this is the site for just that. Visually, Pinterest gives you amazing ideas and inspiration whether it be for fashion, beauty, science, interior design or WHATEVER else you love. The site allows you to create online mood boards to organise and present your hobbies and interests, mine include: Fashion and Beauty, Fashion and Diversity and Interior Design. Well today I wanted to speak about the most obvious mood board I have created which is less prominent on my blog - Interior Design. Living Room AreaAs you may be able to tell, my taste is seemingly quite unique and forever changing. I think that if I was to choose a style for a house I would struggle merely because I enjoy many diffrent styles. I've always been a fan of the sleek white style as shown in the left image, but I'm an absolute sucker for the family feel of a living room such as the right image. Both images evidently show fireplaces, one seemingly slightly more modern than the other, this is because I've grown up in a large 1930's home with a fireplace in almost every room. I love them. I don't think it's something that should ever go out of style and I don't think that they ever would. Moreover, fireplaces make the room so lovely and warm on a FREEZING cold night. I absolutely love the log hole on the left image. Not only is it super convenient becuse unlike my Dad, you won't have to go back and forth outside to get new log's when the fire needs more, but it add's a dash of colour to the all white room and I think the two contrasts are perfect. It sort of reminds me of the country as well, I guess becuase they are logs (state the obvious). The Bedroom & Being CosyOk so you're probably thinking, "She better be getting A* in everything or becoming famous to ever be able to get a dressing room like that." - You're more than likely right, but a girl can dream! Nevertheless, you're probably noticing the white theme. I feel as though it lights up the room and would totally make my mood positive. I mean I had the vision to make my room black and white at the age of about 14 and even drew up my ideas, I was totally commited. It's now exactly how I want it with a touch of red here and there becuase that's one of my favourite colours. The image on the right shows a series of frames with photos in. I think instead, I would add in quotes such as my favourite two, "She believed she could so she did" and "She is clothed in strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future." For me I love high beds and I'm SO picky about my matress. Moreover, I couldn't have a bed without a throw, it would feel so bare! The black windows and seemingly black ladder is a perfect contrast with the pastel pink and white shades. Kitchen Area & Food Glorious FoodOk well, my Kitchen area is slightly different, you could say. Hands down the left image is my absolute FAVOURITE inspiration in terms of interior design. The contrast of the rose gold metallic lights and the continous wooden pattern on the floor, stairs and table mixed with a vivid white. WOW. The colour choice is absolutely impeccable. I think that the image moreover has a very modern touch, which I love to see in houses - I LOVE everything new and up to date. Well, almost everything. The photo of the image on the right is a little more outdated, but gives a gorgeous country feel. I love the white mixed with the brick wall and huge window. The look further connotes the country element, it just reminds me of Britain and the country side. The cute little brealfast table makes the room so humble and just totally motivates and stimulates my love for Interior Design. Both images have the similar white chairs, something I evidently enjoy. The BathroomMy actual bathroom in my house is absolutely amazing. We went for a very modern, luxury, all black and white room, so I guess that's where some of the choice of colours of these images have come from. The left image is probably my absolute favourite. Again, the image gives a very country like feel to it. I love the brown, rusty brick wall and floor underneath the bath which then flows into a black and white tile floor and continues up the left wall. This is something you'd expect from a christmas holiday getaway house, it kind of reminds me of the house from the movie The Holiday. The image to the right, shows a metallic rose gold bath with a silver shade in the middle. The brown and rose gold is the most perfect contrast in colour. Again, there's the brick wall and tiled floor, it seems as though it's a walk in shower amongst the bath, nice and spacious. I'm not too sure about the two windows because you'd be pretty visible whilst in the bath or shower. The wall curves up above on the cieling which is another aspect of interior design which I think looks edgy and new - totally up my street. STUDY ROOMStudy room's are extremely important to me. I'm lucky enough to have a large bedroom which allows me to have my room and study space in one, alongside a TV near my desk (sometimes not great because I get ever so slightly distracted). The first image on the left reminds me of Zoella, I think because of the light brown (almost like a rose gold) and white contrast which seemed similar to her office tour. The use of the wall for images and quotes is such an amazing idea and makes your office seems more sentimental and motivating. I think that the right image, being all white, is a bit too much and seemingly TOO bright. I do love the wood flooring, apparent throughout my own kitchen and dinning room leading through to my downstairs hallway. I'm so organised in terms of desk space, so the white cabinet towards the side is essential for things such as stationary and folders. I think it's important to have an study room which you like, otherwise you won't feel as motivated to work. As you can tell from my pins, I have a very vivid black and white theme followed by the wooden flooring or walls and the touch of rose gold. Quotes in rooms I spend a lot of my time in are essential for me, I absolutely love quotes because they're the only way I get myself working and completing ENDLESS amounts of coursework. Interior Design is an interest of mine which is increasing due to the wonderful Pinterest, fuelling ideas and inspirations. I'm definitely going to take time on the interior of my future house.
